Bowie Lee - Founder
Bowie Lee is the Co-Founder and Co-President of Rights of Nature. She founded Rights of Nature when she was attending the Weston High School in Massachusetts and continued her passion with an additional chapter at the Pine View School in Florida, where she is currently a Senior.
Bowie serves as Captain of the Lincoln-Douglas Debate Team at Pine View, where she has led the team’s growth, coached new debaters, and competed at major national tournaments. She is also Development Lead for Make a Wave, helping coordinate coastal cleanups and expand youth engagement in environmental work.
Bowie is passionate about advocacy through both writing and law. She volunteers as a Teen Court attorney, combines research and storytelling to create environmental education materials, and has published a children’s book on conservation. Her work across multiple organizations reflects her commitment to environmental justice, youth leadership, and community action.
Outside of advocacy, Bowie enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring different cultures, as well as spending time on local nature trails and beaches with friends and family. She is dedicated to protecting the natural spaces she loves and empowering others to do the same.
